So I've had my Maserati Ghibli for just over a year now and honestly, it's been an absolute dream to drive, the sound, the handling, the way people look at it, I have zero regrets about buying it. But over the past week or so, I've started noticing this weird whining noise coming from what sounds like the front end, almost like a supercharger whine but it gets louder as I accelerate and it's definitely not the normal engine note that I'm used to. I took it to a general garage near my office in Business Bay and the guy there basically just shrugged and said he doesn't work on Italian cars, which I totally understand because these things are complicated and you need someone who actually knows their way around the electronics and the specific quirks of these engines. I live in the Umm Suqeim area and I'm really hoping to find a workshop close to home because leaving the car somewhere far means I have to figure out transport back and forth which is a massive headache. I've been asking around in some of the luxury car groups on Facebook and a few people mentioned that there's a garage near the coast that actually knows what they're doing with Maseratis, but nobody gave me a specific name. I'm basically looking for Maserati auto repair in Umm Suqeim that won't just plug in a diagnostic tool and guess what's wrong, I need someone who really understands these cars and can give me a proper diagnosis without charging me the earth just for looking at it. The car is still under warranty technically but the dealership is all the way over in Festival City and their service center is always booked weeks in advance, plus I've heard horror stories about them taking forever to get parts. Anyone around here had good experiences with a garage that actually knows how to work on these Italian beasts without making things worse? I'm really worried it could be something serious like the transmission or the differential and I don't want to ignore it until it becomes a much bigger problem. Appreciate any help you guys can offer!
