PK Guidelines
#1
Brick
Outline

A PK is a permanent kill, this of course has IC consequences, but essentially it means that you lose access to that character.

If your character is PK’d you only have 48 hours to appeal that PK on the forums. You will only ever regain access to your PK’d character if you appeal and the appeal is accepted. Please note that if you delete your character, then that character will never be accessible again as the information associated to that character is gone permanently.

How to carry out a PK
  • In order to carry out a PK, your PK must follow the guidelines below. If it does follow the guidelines you should follow these steps:
    • Create a ticket for a PK.
    • A staff member will teleport to you and ask for the reason, as well as any associated evidence. If the staff member is able to carry out the PK, and they are happy with the evidence, they will log that PK and inform you when the person is “PK-Active.”
      • PK-Active means that the person will be permanently killed on death.

    • Carry out a properly roleplayed PK.

Who can issue PKs
  • Moderator | Civilian PKs only.
  • Senior Moderator | NCO.
  • Administrator | CO.
  • Senior Administrator | CO & Government CO.
  • Head Administrator | Generals
  • Supervisor Administrator | NHC

All Staff Ranks are able to PK those the previous ranks could PK.

General Guidelines
  • You cannot bait people into a PK situation through OOC means.
  • You must always use a PK as a LAST RESORT.
    • Please always attempt to resolve any matter through roleplay means before looking to request a PK.

  • You cannot PK someone for the sole purpose of getting their rank or title.
  • You cannot look to PK someone for an OOC issue.
  • You cannot use information you gained through powergaming to PK someone.
  • You cannot use fabricated evidence in a court-trial to get a PK.
  • NHC cannot order the death of five or more people for the same situation.
  • You cannot order the death of someone for being in a certain faction.
  • You cannot issue a PK through a situation that will clearly result in the death of the aggressor.
    • Such as running into a guarded building and killing someone.
